BREAKING: AZONTO IS A DEVILISH DANCE.

I was doing my normal daily web crawling for interesting news that others may have missed and I came across a blogsite ghleak.blogspot.com that was claiming that the world-shaking dance known as Azonto is DEVILISH.

Pardon my dismay and my tone, if it should sound a bit incredulous, but, really? I mean, seriously? Does the first world domineering thing that actually originated from Ghana have to be labelled as devilish? Is the Ghanaian showbiz industry ready to be shaken by these rumors of underlying devilish meanings to acts as perpetrated in Hollywood?

Read the post culled from ghleak.blogspot.com below
"A brother Got a Vision from the HOLYSPIRIT about Azonto Dance. He said Azonto Dance is a puppet manipulation whereby, a demon ties a rope to an individual's hand and legs and manipulates and control the person to dance AZONTO.
Now you can find these DANCES in Churches. Is it really right, bring the world into the Church? Despite its origination from Chorkor, Bukom, it has included some seduction gestures which is unspeakable. And Azonto is being danced to WORLDLY MUSIC.
WHAT IS THE FUTURE FOR GHANA? ARE WE RAPTURE READY? IF JESUS COMES RIGHT NOW and YOU DANCING AZONTO, WILL YOU MAKE IT TO HEAVEN?"

Now I ask, what is worldly music? And what is Azonto.

  13. But does it really matter? I go to church and we dance the Azonto.. When we dance? We dance to glorify God, doesn't matter what kind of dance it is ? It's too glorify the man upstairs.. At least God knows we're using Anything and everything to worship him!!

  15. Azonto tutorial animation for Azonto Dance fans The dance was first called “Apaa”(which means work) by the people of Bukom and its environs, this was to represent the movements like washing, driving, boxing etc that was associated with dance. So What Are You Talking About ... Your Brother Is Rather The Devil! How Is It That He Can Recieve a Vision Like That. This is A Straight Up Lie. Do You Know The History Of The Dance??? Huh .. trww Something Soo innocent Like This Dance, Now You Want To Say Its A devilish dance, The person who made the dance would know. trww, Fools! After You Have enjoyed yourself dancing it in your so called churches you now realize its from satan. first of all get this right deep into your brain that satan is the ruler of the world so all worldly musics that you listen to is from satan right? when you do your Ghanaian parties DO NOT play any Ghanaian music or any other music because its is from the devil! dance To your gospel music! even that one are sure its not from satan!?? okkay??? What Does having a vision got to do with this, No one gets visions any more, that is why God Gave us his word the bible to guide us. His likes and dislikes are in the bible, so why are you being guided by someone who is having visions from SATAN THE DEVIL, GO AND READ YOUR BIBLE Well And stop relying on someones false visions, and make the truth your own. If you're experiencing any total failure in your life dont blame azonto for it. think of ways to fix your life.

  17. Alot of your artists is starting to follow in Hollywoods footsteps! Especially Sarkodie. Do research, and be mindful of the symbology portrayed in it. And yes, all secular music is satanic :)
